The CLA Electric is the first model built on Mercedes’ upcoming MMA platform, which will also be the foundation for several future electric and hybrid models. The major selling point is efficiency: Mercedes states that the car can be charged with enough power for 325 km in just ten minutes of fast charging.

This makes it ideal for commuting and longer trips – and sends a clear message to competitors like BMW i4, Tesla Model 3, and Polestar 2.
