Opel has unveiled the Vivaro Electric Sportive – a new design-focused variant of its popular electric van, now infused with a dose of extra flair without compromising practicality. According to an Opel press release dated April 2, 2025, the model is an effort to make daily commuting and professional driving both emission-free and stylish.

Sporty Design Meets Functional Utility

The new Sportive edition features distinctive design elements such as black and yellow decals, 17-inch alloy wheels, and color-coded bumpers and side mirrors, giving it a sporty edge in a typically understated van category.

Inside, the sporty theme continues with a black dashboard and a range of tech packages included as standard.

Performance and Range for Professional Use

On the practical side, the Vivaro Electric Sportive is powered by a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor and a 75 kWh battery, offering an official range of up to 352 km (WLTP). With a maximum payload of 1,000 kg and up to 5.8 m³ of cargo space, the model suits tradespeople, service technicians, and couriers alike.

DC fast charging is supported up to 100 kW, delivering an 80% charge in around 45 minutes.

Comfort and Tech for Business Drivers

Standard features include a digital rearview mirror with camera feeds from the rear and beneath the side mirror, a 10-inch touchscreen with navigation and infotainment, and comfort touches like keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, and a heated leather steering wheel.

Opel offers both a panel van and a crew cab version, priced at €48,500 and €51,500 respectively, excluding VAT (German pricing).

A Stylish Choice for Professional Fleets

While its emissions-free operation and high equipment level may appeal to eco-conscious businesses, Opel is also aiming to make fleet driving less anonymous – and maybe even a little more exciting – with the Sportive’s distinctive design.
