Hyundai is gearing up to unveil the all-new 2026 Palisade SUV at the prestigious New York International Auto Show on April 16. The South Korean automaker will livestream the event, marking the digital launch of a vehicle Hyundai describes as “bolder, bigger, and more capable than ever before.”

According to the brand, the new Palisade will grow in both size and technology, building on the success of its predecessor, which achieved record-breaking sales in 2024 — a 23% increase compared to the previous year.

More Space and a Premium Feel

While Hyundai has yet to release full details about powertrains and specs, the company promises enhanced ride comfort, more interior space, and a cabin that delivers a premium experience. This move positions the 2026 Palisade as a direct competitor to other popular three-row SUVs like the Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, and Honda Pilot.

The Palisade is set to be our flagship in the SUV segment, delivering a premium experience for families who want more space and modern technology,” Hyundai states in the press release

Livestream Scheduled for April 16 – A Broader Lineup in the Works

The world premiere livestream of the new 2026 Hyundai Palisade will take place on April 16 at 10:30 AM Eastern Time via Hyundai’s official YouTube channel. The event is also expected to include the introduction of an expanded model lineup, suggesting that Hyundai is aiming for a broader offering with more trims and potential drivetrain options.

A Growing Footprint in the U.S. — and Possibly Europe?

In recent years, Hyundai has significantly increased its presence and production in the United States, where the brand now contributes to over 190,000 jobs and adds nearly DKK 150 billion (approx. $21 billion) to the U.S. economy annually, according to a new report.

Whether Denmark will get to experience the 2026 Palisade — which is currently not officially sold in the country — remains uncertain. However, with rising interest in large SUVs and Hyundai’s growing ambitions in Europe, an official Danish debut may not be out of the question.
