New Electric Van from Maxus: e-Deliver 5 Debuts in Denmark
An Electric Workhorse with Room for Cargo and Low Operating Costs
Maxus has unveiled its latest electric van, the e-Deliver 5, at the Transport Fair in Herning. The model is set to hit the Danish market in April and fits in between the e-Deliver 3 and e-Deliver 7 in the brand’s lineup. It’s designed with a focus on small and medium-sized businesses looking for electric solutions without compromising on functionality or range.
Practical Range and Fast Charging
The e-Deliver 5 is powered by a 64 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 335 km (WLTP). It supports DC fast charging up to 70 kW, allowing for an 80% charge in around 45 minutes. The van also supports 11 kW AC charging, making it suitable for charging at home or at the company’s premises.
Generous Cargo and Towing Capacity
The new model is available with cargo space of 6.6 or 7.7 m³, depending on configuration, and can carry up to 1,200 kg. With a towing capacity of 1,500 kg, the e-Deliver 5 is capable of handling many tasks that would traditionally require a diesel van.
Safety as a Top Priority
According to the importer RSA Denmark, safety is a major focus in the e-Deliver 5. The van has received Platinum certification in Euro NCAP’s safety test for commercial vehicles. It comes equipped with modern driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and drowsiness detection.
Comfort and Connectivity in the Cabin
The cabin features three seats and includes a height-adjustable driver’s seat, armrest, and heated seating, making it suitable for long workdays. The infotainment system is operated through a 12.3-inch touchscreen and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing drivers to easily connect their smartphones.
Ready for Sale – With a Competitive Price Strategy
The e-Deliver 5 will go on sale in May 2025 with an introductory price of DKK 259,900 (excluding VAT). According to Maxus Denmark, the model is well-suited to the Danish market, where its modern design and competitive pricing are expected to attract businesses in need of a flexible, green van solution.
Maxus Strengthens Its Position in Denmark
Maxus, a brand under SAIC Motors – one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers – has built a strong presence in Denmark’s electric van segment in recent years. With the introduction of the e-Deliver 5, the brand expands its model portfolio and aims to reach a broader base of business customers.
