Hot Wheels Brings Ferrari Back: New Limited Edition Collection Ignites Collector Fever
The dream garage in miniature is finally a reality for both young and old Ferrari fans – and it’s the first time in over a decade.
After more than a decade of absence, Hot Wheels is resuming its collaboration with the Italian luxury brand Ferrari.
Mattel announced this week that they are also unveiling a new, exclusive 1:64 scale collection.
Fans and collectors can look forward to a selection of classic and modern Ferrari models – some in limited editions.

The Dream Garage Starts Here
The collection, dubbed “Hot Wheels for Ferrari,” has been launched on Mattel’s collector site, Mattel Creations. The first box set is already available for pre-order at $100.
The set includes two models:
- Ferrari 312P – a nostalgic recreation of Hot Wheels’ very first Ferrari from 1970
- Ferrari 499P Modificata – the race car that secured Ferrari’s victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Both cars feature the signature silver-plated red Spectraflame paint and details such as Real Riders™ wheels.
Hot Wheels plans to release more models gradually throughout 2025. The series will include premium versions of:
…as well as an RC version of the SF90 Stradale, which is fully functional and compatible with Hot Wheels tracks, aimed at younger enthusiasts.
First Ferrari in Over a Decade
This marks the first official release of Ferrari models by Hot Wheels since the late 2000s.
Previous collaborations between Mattel and Ferrari ended around 2014, when rival brands like Bburago took over the license.
The new models will be available globally starting summer 2025 through both specialty channels and retail outlets.
Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for more product launches over the next year.
