In the Fast & Furious universe, it’s not just about family and explosive stunts – it’s very much about cars. Seriously fast cars. And while the franchise has showcased everything from Japanese street racers to American muscle and European hypercars, one question keeps coming back: Which car is actually the fastest in the entire series?

We’ve looked under the hood of some of the wildest cars ever to hit the screen in the Fast & Furious films, and ranked them by top speed – along with who drove them and why that car deserves a spot in the top 10.

1. 1971 Plymouth GTX – 433 km/h (269 mph)

Driver: Dominic Toretto
Dom doesn’t roll in anything ordinary, and in Fast X he proves it once again with this brutal GTX. A classic American muscle car upgraded with modern technology, making it the franchise’s undisputed speed king.

2. 2011 Bugatti Veyron – 415 km/h (258 mph)

Driver: Roman Pearce
When you need to go fast and look stunning doing it, the Bugatti Veyron is hard to beat. Roman takes the wheel of this million-dollar dream, and even though he’s usually the comic relief, there’s nothing funny about this ride.

3. 1968 Dodge Charger R/T – 414 km/h (257 mph)

Driver: Dom Toretto
Dom and the Dodge Charger go hand in hand. The black Charger has been his trademark since the first film, and with multiple upgrades across the series, it now reaches speeds that rival modern hypercars.

4. 2010 Koenigsegg CCXR – 410 km/h (255 mph)

Drivers: Roman & Tej
Swedish extremity in carbon fiber and raw V8 power. The Koenigsegg became part of the crew at the end of Fast Five and remains one of the most exclusive cars ever featured in the franchise.

5. 2014 Lykan Hypersport – 394 km/h (245 mph)

Driver: Dom Toretto
No one forgets the scene in Furious 7 where Dom flies from skyscraper to skyscraper in Abu Dhabi. The car? A Lykan Hypersport worth around $3.4 million. Fast, rare, and completely insane – just like the scene itself.

6. Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 – 336 km/h (209 mph)

Driver: Roman Pearce
When the ice under your tires starts to crack, and you still choose to drive a Lamborghini – that’s bold. The orange LP640 offers brutal V12 sound and Italian flair, stealing the spotlight in The Fate of the Furious.

7. 1965 Ford GT40 – 330 km/h (205 mph)

Driver: Mia Toretto
Mia takes the wheel of a true Le Mans legend. The GT40 represents old-school racing DNA – and with Toretto blood in her veins, she definitely knows what she’s doing.

8. 2011 Lexus LFA – 325 km/h (202 mph)

Driver: Han
The LFA isn’t just fast – it’s a technological masterpiece. A V10 engine that screams like a Formula 1 car, and Han gives this Japanese dream car the respect it deserves in Fast & Furious 6.

9. 2010 Dodge Charger SRT-8 – 280 km/h (174 mph)

Drivers: Brian O’Conner & Dom
A newer generation of the Charger that still delivers plenty of raw American muscle. Not the fastest in the series, but clearly a favorite of the Dom and Brian duo.

10. 2001 Honda S2000 – 280 km/h (174 mph)

Driver: Suki
From 2 Fast 2 Furious comes the most colorful entry on the list. Suki’s pink S2000 may not be the most intimidating machine, but it’s fast enough to hold its own – and bursting with personality.
