The SSC Ultimate Aero was once the fastest car in the world. Now, the iconic supercar has been reduced to nothing more than scrap metal and burnt carbon fiber, leaving car enthusiasts around the globe in mourning.

During a spectacular monster truck show in Richland, Washington, a model of the supercar was completely pulverized.

The car, which back in 2007 reached the staggering speed of 412 km/h and thus broke the Bugatti Veyron’s speed record, held a special place in the hearts of car enthusiasts.

The violent end was captured on video and went viral on social media, where car lovers expressed grief and horror over the loss of the historic vehicle.

The harsh images clearly show how the massive wheels of the monster truck mercilessly crush the car, which just moments before stood alongside other doomed vehicles.

As if the destructive forces of the monster truck weren’t enough – the remnants of the once proud car were subsequently torn apart by a robot dinosaur, before the entire wreck was ultimately set ablaze.

An act that clearly underscored the final end of the legendary car’s existence.

For car fans, the destruction of the SSC Ultimate Aero marks a profound loss. The car was more than just a record holder; it symbolized an era of engineering achievements and unattainable speeds, inspiring generations of car enthusiasts.

SSC North America, the manufacturer behind the supercar, has also lamented the incident, calling the destruction a shame, especially considering the car’s historical significance.
